FOR KEEPING YOUR CUT FLOWERS IN TOP
CONDITION |
1. Make
sure your vases are very clean and
use fresh, LUKEWARM, water. |
2. Strip
of all leaves below the water level
to avoid polluting the vase water. |
3. Use the
flower food provided with your
bouquet - this encourages buds to
open and
prevents bacteria growing on the
stems (which is the cause of
drooping flower heads). |
4. Avoid
direct sunlight, heat &
draughts. |
5. Keep
flowers away from ripening fruit and
remove fading flowers as they occur. |
6. Keep
topping up the water. |
